Very bad place, I cheated
The welcome was very professional; the manager organized a garden of spices tour for us the next day. Breakfast was limited to a lunch box.
I stayed in Matale and the hotel is big and pleasant; the owner arranged a scooter for us and it was really great. Thanks again and see you soon.
“Sympa ..”
We were lucky to witness a Hindu wedding in their venue—a memorable moment—and the terrace offered a superb view of the mountains. The Wi‑Fi didn’t work at all.
Mr. Kishor was super nice and friendly, helped with transport, and made sure we were comfortable. The other staff members couldn’t care less. Honestly, it wasn’t that bad; it was stripped to the basics. Hygiene could improve a lot. The bathroom had no lock and the spider web hadn’t been cleaned out in months. The kitchen had only a sink and an electric kettle, so don’t expect to cook here. Food in Matale is super cheap and yummy, and Mr. Kishor can order dinner for you—so you don’t have to cook. It’s about 1.5 km from Matale town but more than 30 km from all nearby attractions.
