A stunning spot, full of peace and greenery, and the pool is simply fantastic. The place feels authentically charming and very comfortable.

We stayed two nights at La Vienne’s main house, a gorgeous room with super comfy beds and a lovely bathroom, while Paul and Sarah were the loveliest hosts. La Vieille Gorce sits in a super peaceful setting amid rolling countryside, and the pool is amazing with beautiful grounds. Paul also showed us the two gites that are available, which we plan to book next time; they’re fully equipped for independent living and have a terrace overlooking the pool. In the nearby village of Charouxx we found the Green Man, a great restaurant/pub that was very friendly and served excellent food. Breakfast was delicious and we were lucky enough to try Paul's homemade cake. I would definitely recommend this beautiful place. Nothing was wrong; it was perfect.

“Charme, qualité et accueil”

The pool was great despite the heat, and the breakfast outside under the canopy was perfect. The rooms on the roof are not insulated and lack air conditioning.

“Gezellige en goed verzorgde B&B”

A cozy and atmospheric B&B with very warm owners, a lovely garden, and a brilliant pool (though we had bad weather). It’s quiet and rural, and the scenery is breathtaking. We were on a bike and found it a bit remote.
