The hotel was superb, but the music in the common areas was blasting at 10 am for several hours while a neighbor played guitar with an amp outside.

The breakfast featured homemade local specials, and the main building’s medieval design combined with rustic facilities created a natural vibe. The outdoor pool was relaxing with a lovely sunset view. The staff were the friendliest I’ve ever met, helping us resolve a tough problem with taxis, road assistance, and car repair. Two parking options were available, convenient for low and sports cars. Rooms were named after Portuguese authors, a charming way to experience Portuguese culture. The Camino Portuguese ran through the village, giving a unique pilgrimage feel. Nothing was wrong.

The history and landscapes were impressive, and the outdoor space was amazing with various green terraces. It’s more of a suggestion; a concise explanation of the palace’s historical richness is placed at the entrance gate, and the cars are fabulous. I think it deserves it. The breakfast could have more variety.
