The location was great and the staff handled my requests well, but the breakfast left something to be desired: the focus was almost entirely on tangerine juice, so there were very few fruit options, no tomatoes in the vegetable section, and almost no cheese.

The place was incredibly clean – it’s new but the cleaning was spotless – and the breakfast was delicious, with sea bream rice and yellowtail that didn’t smell at all and tasted great! The hot spring, steam sauna, and the many manga were also a highlight, even though I didn’t have time to read them. The only downside was the welcome soft‑cream; the time window was too short for me to finish it.

The hotel sits in the centre of town, the onsen is nice and not crowded, and the breakfast area is spacious with no lines. However, the bed was uncomfortable because the mattress topper didn’t fit properly, the lifts were slow and too few for a hotel of this size, breakfast offered poor value if you’re not a fan of Asian breakfasts, and the staff were incredibly unhelpful.

The location was good and the room was clean, but I asked for a quiet room away from the lifts and stairs three days ahead and was given the one nearest the lift. When I requested a move, the alternatives were worse. I was disappointed that a suitable room couldn’t be reserved for me. Most of the night was quiet, but I was woken at 7.10 am by guests using the lifts and the noise didn’t stop. I won’t stay again, even though the staff tried to help.
