“Well appointed room”
Room no. 1 was beautifully decorated with high‑quality furnishings. The rooms sit above the pub, yet there was no noticeable noise; on Saturday evening the restaurant part of the pub was mainly occupied by families who ate relatively early. The food was good. The road outside seemed quiet, with not a lot of passing traffic (the room did not have double‑glazing). A few improvements could be made: an anti‑mosquito plug, a mirror within a hairdryer cord‑length of a socket, bedside reading lamps, a toilet roll holder, a hand towel rail, a shelf or soap holder in the shower, and a Wi‑Fi booster. The self‑service breakfast was very basic, offering only instant coffee, cereals, porridge, and industrial packaged croissants, and it was available in a very small kitchen that could only accommodate two guests at a time, so it was not very convenient.
