We booked a few nights at a nice resort with a pool for our kids, and only the pool lived up to expectations. For a price five times that of a quality resort, we found nothing but faded glory. The bathroom leaked, the shower water smelled, no water came from the tap, the sun loungers were worn out, and the beach was not kept clean. We tried the food once – never again. What a disappointment!

We fell in love with the authentic charm of this island, which is truly magnificent. The bungalows are spacious and spotless, with an incredible location right on the beach. Breakfast was a feast for the eyes and taste buds, with a wide variety of high-quality options. While the beach itself has a similar grey tone to the Versilia coast, the atmosphere is simply beautiful.

We had a bit of a surprise when we checked into our room - a rather large rat was strolling around! It was a bit unsettling, to say the least. Unfortunately, that was the highlight of our stay.

We spent three blissful nights on Ko Sokurn, a stunning island that stole our hearts. The Yataa resort was a hidden gem, offering a tranquil retreat from the world. The sea was a serene canvas of blues and greens, and the hotel's sunloungers on the beach were the perfect spot to soak up the sun. The breakfast spread was delightful, with fresh fruit, bread, and eggs, while the lunch and dinner options at the hotel restaurant were a treat, especially the fresh fish.
