I found the guesthouse in a spot that’s only a 5‑minute walk from the bustling center yet still right by the riverside. The couple who run it were super friendly and even offered scooter rentals. My room was spotless and came with all the basic amenities, and overall it felt like great value for the price.

The room was huge, complete with a balcony and a hot shower, and it sat close to both the supermarket and the river, just a short stroll to the center. The internet worked fine and the staff were welcoming. The only downside was that if you’re staying on an upper floor, you’ll have to climb quite a few stairs, which wasn’t an issue for us.
