I had no positive moments; the hotel sits on a narrow street with no parking and offers no basic hospitality. Nobody bothered to give a bottle of water or toiletries, and there’s no way to get a cup of tea after a long journey. Everything was disappointing.
Grand Stay Hotel sits right in the heart of Trichy town, which is great for shopping and grabbing a bite. It gives good value if you’re after budget lodging, but the décor feels a bit dated and could use an update. I’d probably bring my own bedsheets, toilet paper and towels next time. There’s no direct car access; you have to walk about 50 metres from the main road and then climb roughly 10 steps to reach the ground floor, so it’s tough for guests with heavy luggage or mobility issues. Staff interaction was minimal during our stay. All in all, it’s a basic, budget‑friendly spot in a central spot, and the price works for a short visit.
