The owners' hospitality was exceptional and the food was great; we ate a very good caldeirada and a lobster that was excellent at reasonable prices. Nothing special, though a remodel of the accommodations would make them even more comfortable.

This place was amazing to stay in, with a wonderful breakfast, lovely rooms, and an incredible view. Lijia and Bruno were fabulous hosts who really went out of their way to make our stay perfect. For the best fish and seafood, eat at Coconuts restaurant near Praia das Sete Ondes.

The room had nice décor, was very clean, and came with clean white bath towels. The hotel offered a nice view from above. The breakfast was satisfactory and the staff were courteous. The night we stayed, however, there was no hot water for the bath and the water was very cold.

The location is magnificent, with an unobstructed view of the coast, in a quiet spot yet close to the island’s main axis, near the beautiful Hellsmouth site and the Septs vagues beach, each less than an hour’s walk. The single rooms are charming, comfortable, and spaced apart. The décor is beautiful. Meals are excellent, whether breakfast or dinner, and the chef can also prepare delicious vegetarian dishes. The hosts are very welcoming and available, offering advice and making the stay easier. There is no hot water and the internet is unstable, but nothing that really detracts from the stay.
