The Hamlet Inn is a charming little place just off Montauk Highway, close to family and the beach with decent dining spots. The room was small but cozy, the bed was excellent, and the staff were friendly and always had water, snacks, coffee, and hot tea ready. The bathroom felt tight and lacked ventilation, showing the building’s age, but overall it was still user‑friendly.

The spot’s spotty, but the location’s perfect for the Hamptons, and the host was super helpful and friendly. The place feels old‑fashioned, the rooms stayed humid, and the common areas could use a serious deep clean.

The garden was huge, great for sitting outside while eating breakfast, and the coffee was fantastic. Denise was very accommodating, but the only downside was that the rooms didn’t let in enough fresh air; we had to leave the windows wide open all night to clear out the room freshener.

Stayed just after the labor day weekend. Great location with just the right amount of driving to all the main Southampton spots. Good decent rooms for the price paid, dont expect any fancy shoomzy stuff. Free parking, the main hostess at the reception can provide top notch tips and hidden gems. Highlight is the free beach passes to soak-in all the Southampton beaches. Free coffee and bites in the reception. Verdict - Highly recommend for budget conscious folks and would definitely come back if visiting Southampton. Everything was good - wish they could provide beach chairs - either free or a small fee

Everything! From the warm welcome and owner’s availability to the services offered, the property was very well maintained with an English lawn, barbecue, and pool—truly a memorable place. Everything was exceptional.
