The room was lovely, the hotel was well located, the staff were helpful, and there was plenty of parking nearby (5 euros per night in front). I did notice that there was no bottled water.

The room was clean and spacious, making it easy to relax. The view, however, seemed a bit disappointing.

Beautiful room, comfy beds, very cool lamp lit bar upstairs. Staff were lovely and friendly and very good at speaking English if you need it. There was a great range of brochures and maps of Otaru in the lobby too

The location was excellent, and the lobby offered a nice kombu soup. The room was again too small, with most of the area occupied by the bathroom. Additionally, when checking out we were charged an extra fee that didn’t seem right; after presenting the confirmation email from the booking site, the front desk admitted it was their mistake, having overcharged us even though we had already paid online. We spent a lot of time reconciling the bill before they refunded the cash. Throughout the process the staff were polite, courteous, and friendly, even handing us business cards and repeatedly apologizing; the service attitude was very good.
