Velinda was super friendly and helpful. The place itself is nice, and the building and rooms are gorgeous: big, clean, and charming. Breakfast is included and good. The only thing that’s a bit of a downside is not having more days to stay there.

My partner and I spent one night at this wonderful place surrounded by trees, cats, and a spectacular view. Velinda, the owner, was exceptional and made us feel at home; we’ve never felt so welcome in a lodging! Breakfast was super abundant, with plenty of sweet and savory options, and Velinda also made a delicious almond granita. The room was large, comfortable, clean, and fully equipped. It’s a farmhouse in the green where you feel good, with excellent hospitality from the hosts and a nice room with a bathroom in a quiet setting; it’s a shame that the municipal road to get there is in bad condition. Some trouble getting there, especially at night, the state road 120 is not a modern road, and the municipal road is terrible.

The location is strategic for visiting several important wineries on Etna. The owner is always available and ready for any request from us. The atmosphere feels “family-like”.
