The hosts were friendly, but the space was tiny and run-down. For three people, there were only two pillows, one blanket, and two towels. No Wi‑Fi, only one working lamp, and the place stank.

We were told to arrive at a specific time, but the key wasn’t handed over until two hours later. The boat was filthy, smelled of oil, and looked far worse than the old pictures. We left immediately and couldn’t reach anyone, even though three people had promised to let us know when they’d arrive. We had to find another accommodation.

The location was fine, but there was no water or electricity. Only the abaju helped to charge, and the gas ran out the next morning. I messaged the host because the boat was a short distance away, and the climb was dangerous. He sent someone to check, but they didn’t show up, then later told me it was okay if we stayed. It was awful—going to a concert and having to find another place? A friend gave up because the conditions were bad, the external upholstery was damaged. I’m a host myself and would be ashamed to rent it in this state; the pillows smelled awful and needed repair.
