TownePlace Suites by Marriott Vernal

“Clean, well appointed, comfortable”

The staff were friendly, the accommodation was clean and comfortable, the bed was excellent, and the room was well stocked for a longer stay, which was very convenient; the only drawback was the self‑closing closet door that forced me to prop it open with my feet to avoid it slamming shut.

“Small problems but great response from staff”

The staff were wonderful and helpful, but the room had loose phones, a loose shower knob, and a bathroom leak; the team fixed everything quickly, offered a new room, but we were halfway through a long stay and chose to stay.

“Lesson learned. Will not stay here again.”

Breakfast was good, but the night clerk was missing from the front desk when we tried to check in, and nobody answered the phone. We waited 45 minutes for her to appear, then got into a fight that she only made worse instead of calmer. That was unacceptable, especially after we had waited almost an hour for her to do her job. We were then double‑charged for the room as a form of retaliation. The room was the most expensive in town and not well cared for, especially since the building isn’t that old.

I liked that they accept dogs, and there was nothing else to complain about.

“Fantastic”

The location was perfect, the staff was extremely kind and pleasant, and the beds were so comfortable. Nothing negative.
