I stay at this hotel every time I visit; the pool is great and the breakfast venue now overlooks the sea, offering a wonderful view that makes it superb. I wish the beach opened earlier so we could get there sooner.

The staff were fantastic, with plenty who spoke Japanese, and the huge pool with its water slide and manta attraction provided endless fun. Breakfast offered a wide selection and tasted great, while the shallow beach right in front of the hotel was perfect for families with small kids. The gym and table‑tennis were free to use, and laundry cost $2 for washing and $2 for drying. The room itself was clean and comfortable, but the building showed signs of age with some outdated facilities. Being far from the Tamon area meant you needed a shuttle or other transport to get out and about. The elevator doors closed too quickly, a few pieces of gym equipment were broken, and the laundry coins were 25‑cent pieces, so you had to exchange them at the front desk.

The large pool was a real plus, especially since it never felt crowded. The downside was the hotel’s distance from the city centre, requiring about a 15‑20 minute drive to reach downtown.
