“Magnifique”
The breakfast deserves a higher price; for €12 you get a full, generous meal. The staff are incredibly kind, the hosts match the quality of the place, and the décor is on trend. Nothing to note!

Moulin Aurelia is a beautifully appointed guest house with a fabulous, spacious room that was very comfortable, and the amenities—especially the pool—were excellent. Breakfast was a highlight, with delicious items arriving every few minutes, served by our impeccable hosts Jacques and Nancy. We had a wonderful few days and would recommend it highly. The location is good, with Salon de Provence only a ten‑minute drive away. The only downside is that you’ll need a car for this guesthouse, otherwise it’s perfect.

The property sits on a country road that can be quite busy, but luckily the noise is minimal. The estate is pretty, and the pool is spacious. There is a bit of construction material and clutter on the grounds, but otherwise it’s well kept. A small playground exists, yet the two large Weimaraners that guard the estate use it as a toilet, leaving huge piles of dog poop everywhere. We had to digest what happened to us during the stay before we could even consider recommending the place, and we advise families with children to stay elsewhere. To reach the family room, you must pass through the hosts’ living area. At night the dogs are trained to bark at anyone entering the building (they were introduced as guard dogs). Nancy and Jacques only let the dogs back off when they see who has entered the house. The last evening my daughter was so startled that she began to cry, which confused the hosts. After we complained that Nancy and Jacques allowed the dogs to run unrestrained towards the children, Nancy demanded we pay immediately and leave at 10 pm. She also became physically aggressive with my mother and shoved her away. We left after a very short night early in the morning, even though we wanted to finish the departure day calmly. The family room is offered with air conditioning, but only the lower part has it, so the upper three beds cannot be used on hot days. When we raised the issue and asked for a solution, Nancy offered to add another room for €120 per night or to leave; her tone was very unfriendly and loud. After Jacques re‑examined the situation, it turned out the fan was in winter mode. Switching it to summer mode helped a bit, but the room was still around 30 °C. Nancy’s initial proposal was unprofessional. Had we known how the stay would unfold, we would have left earlier.

I was happy with everything, just a little traffic noise from the road.

The place didn’t have our reservation even though we had paid, so we had to back up to a big city to sleep. Very disappointing.
