“Should be avoided. Not good.”

Nothing to praise. The hotel lacked basic amenities: no TV (even though it was listed), no toiletries, no tea or coffee in the room. Communication was hopeless; every phone number linked to the aggregator WOW STAYYZ2, not the actual franchise. You can get the same room 25 % cheaper on sites like makamytrip.com. The worst part was having to pay 50 % of the total immediately after booking directly to the aggregator, leaving you at their mercy.

“Comfortable stay at Dharamkot”

The location was perfect, the room was spacious with a great mountain view, and the staff were exceptionally helpful. However, there was no fixed landline at the desk and it took 30 minutes to locate the hotel. The name is THE LODGE, but booking through WOW STAYZ2 caused confusion. I had already paid an advance to WOW STAYZ2 long ago, yet the hotel still sent me a mail asking for an advance. While searching for the property, WOW STAYZ2 gave a desk number that went straight to voicemail. When we finally found the hotel and raised our concerns, the staff replied, “please complain to whoever you booked through, not us.” That was our first face‑to‑face interaction with the hotel management. Things improved once the hard‑working staff stepped in, and after we found the property there was little left to complain about.

We stayed well overall, but the staff really stood out. When my husband fell ill, the team arranged a taxi to the hospital, checked in on us later, and even delivered ginger and lemon tea to our room. Their genuine concern and kindness were a huge relief. They also flexed with our reservation—though we booked three nights, they only charged for the two we actually stayed. Thanks to everyone for their support during a tough time.

“Extremely disappointing”

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience, but I really did like the balcony. And the view the bed was also exceptionally comfortable. The noise it was so noisy out of five nights I only had sleep one night. I had a night of partying Next Door with screaming shouting and loud music until 3 am in the morning banging and closing of doors all night. and then I had one night in between that I slept and then for the last few nights I had the whole floor taken over with a group of families who took over all the rooms around me whilst I was in the middle and continue to run around screaming shouting and banging doors all night. It was the worst. I also complained and was not in any way compensated or taken care of. it wasn’t the fault of the young staff all of the boys and men that work downstairs were very kind however I would’ve expected something to be done by the owner

“Very good rooms nut need service inprovement.”

The rooms were airy and got plenty of sun, but the cleanliness left something to be desired.
