Pension Strandschloss Arielle

The hotel is very pretty, clean, and right on the beach, which we really liked.

The location is perfect, and from the spacious balcony we could see the Baltic Sea. We were pleasantly surprised by the roomy room and bathroom. In the morning we enjoyed the delicious, thoughtfully arranged breakfast in the winter garden, and there was also good food in the evening. All the staff made us feel at ease with their friendly and attentive manner; waiter Fernando could have been a bit more people‑friendly from the start, but he can do it! The beach chairs can be booked and paid for via QR code. The beach is quite rocky in places, so bring sandals if you want to swim. Trips to Bad Doberan, Rostock, Warnemünde, and Kühlungsborn are recommended, and Heiligendamm is within walking distance.

“Alles perfekt, wir kommen wieder”

We had already stayed at Strandschloss Arielle four times before, and as usual it was great. This time we came with friends, one of whom is severely wheelchair‑bound. Because we normally stayed in the annex with an elevator, I forgot to ask for a room with elevator access in advance, but that was sorted out immediately. Two ladies who were in charge of room cleanliness tried hard to understand me and ultimately helped, so thank you again. There was also a garage with a charging station for the wheelchair. Everything was perfect. The rooms were fantastic, the breakfast was always superb, and the location was simply ideal. We will definitely return.
