A perfect spot with a spacious, beautiful cabin right over the sea. The place is gorgeous, roomy and nicely decorated, everything feels brand‑new. However, basic bathroom items like a toothbrush and toothpaste were missing, and the shower water looked cloudy.

The spot is fantastic with very friendly staff. The room was super comfy and spotless.

The location on the water is amazing, and there’s a daybed on your own terrace with direct water access. The bungalow is comfortable. It was a bit dirty, no mosquito net, water pressure often low, and there were trash and pollutants in the water. Talking to the staff was frequently difficult.

The over‑water room experience is lovely. Breakfast is brought to the room, tasty and plentiful. Motorbike rentals cost 15 USD a day. Every beach we saw on the island was prettier than the hotel’s. I’d read that there are fishermen nearby; they’re respectful but sometimes dry fish in the sun, and the smell could be overwhelming. The listing clearly states there’s no air conditioning, but if I went back to Koh Rong I’d definitely choose a place with it. One night we couldn’t eat because the hotel restaurant closed early, knowing there were no nearby places. The waiter replied, “we close early because everyone had already eaten.” Not us, obviously! In short, for the price there are better hotels. We asked for a kayak and they were broken.

The setting is other‑worldly, probably one of the best sunrise views ever. The suite felt private, secluded, and quite luxurious. Breakfast was delivered whenever we wanted and kept us going until dinner. We were lucky the tide was out during the day, letting us stroll along stunning white, palm‑lined beaches. The staff at the main resort were lovely. Locals lived next door; we couldn’t see them, but occasionally there was a smell of simmering fish sauce and loud stereo music, which they turned off when we asked. It all added to the authentic vibe.
