The place was in a decent spot, but the property felt old. The rug in the room was frayed, the bathroom floor was unfinished, and the room was so tiny that we had to climb onto the bed to pass each other to reach the bathroom, which made it feel claustrophobic.

Everything was spotless, it was close to transport, and the staff were excellent.

The cleaning and shower were great, but I had already paid in advance and the staff didn’t know that, so they tried to charge me again.

I loved how close it was to Ueno Station, the staff, the amenities, and the cleanliness. I missed having a microwave in the lounge, but that’s not essential.
