Everything was flawless, the property looked gorgeous, and Brian and Joanna were both delightful hosts, while the character of the place and the breakfast were also fantastic.

The owners’ story is intellectual and culturally rich, making the place better than the facilities; Joanna and Brian are worth the stay, the house feels like a French chateau in a great spot, Martha treats guests wonderfully and offers little surprises that bring a smile, yet breakfast was just okay, the shower was tiny, and the room’s smell wasn’t fresh.

The hospitality, the property, the beautiful wrap‑around verandah, the breakfast, freshly baked cookies, and the gracious hosts were all superb, and we had an excellent stay with no complaints at all.
