“Paisagens maravilhosas. Ê o que vou reter durante muito tempo.”

The breakfast was really good, though it could have been more varied across the days. The location is excellent. The staff were very friendly and competent. The facilities are very good and exceptionally clean. I would have liked the village of Cidadelhe to have more people, especially at night where the lack of light and people feels desolate. The church and the Adro are very well kept and beautiful, which makes one assume there are many residents, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.

“Bien mais pas de service et peu d’amabilité”

The rooms are nice, recently refurbished for ours, with a magnificent view (we chose a room with a view). The austere side of the large colors and the labyrinth to reach the old part make the access décor nonexistent, as does the restaurant’s décor. The refurbished parts are correct but lack any appeal. The old part of the house remains beautiful because the original elements were preserved. The service outside the restaurant is almost non‑existent (probably due to a lack of staff or qualified staff), which is surprising for such an establishment. And no smiles. The restaurant serves very good dishes.

“Foi agradável para o pretendido.”

Breakfast and cleanliness were great. The Turkish bath and pool deck were under maintenance, so I couldn’t enjoy them. The spa area needs some maintenance.

Excellent location, easy to reach, parking in front of the door plus charging for e‑cars. Large rooms, nice breakfast. The open shower in the bedroom is something that may not appeal to everyone.
