Location was fantastic! Onsen was amazing! The roof top balcony was a huge plus. Room was comfortable. I did not like having a window the looks onto a wall. Also the fact there was no cupboard in the room

Conveniently located to enjoy Kyoto's vibrant nightlife. The hotel has an amazing rooftop bar with a fabulous view over the city. Staff was extremely cordial, with great English and very helpful. Booked the room knowing it wasn't a big one, and we traveled with small two small carry-on suitcases, rather than big suitcases, to make up for it. Yet, the room felt smaller than we expected, to the point where sometimes it was even hard for two people to move around and get in at the same time. Not a big deal in the end, once you get used to it. If you are traveling with bigger suitcases, however, definitely choose a bigger room among those offered by this otherwise good hotel

We though the location was perfect. The robes in the room lovely. The rooftop terrace a nice treat. The staff was impeccable. The bathroom and amenities was nice. The room was small and inefficient for two people. One person had to "roll" off the bed to get out if the other person is in it. There was not enough room for both people to move about and get to their suitcases. The handheld shower head was awkward
