Everything was excellent: spacious rooms, a fan, and the staff opened windows for us. It felt like a home away from home. The lady I spoke to on the phone and met briefly was lovely. The shaded patio had nice furniture and a view of open fields. We paid £30 extra for two dogs, which felt a bit steep for just one night.

The peace and quiet are perfect for a quiet break, and the views of the river are beautiful. The extreme heat was a downside, though the owner provided fans.

I love this place—its riverside setting is gorgeous and the spot is spotless and comfy. It sits perfectly for trips to Gloucester, Cheltenham, and The Cotswolds, and the few static caravans mean you can bring a touring van or just camp. The site is small and super friendly, a real upgrade over the big, commercial sites. The walks are plenty and the vibe is very relaxed and dog‑friendly. I’ve been here twice now and I still can’t find any faults.
