The host was really friendly and helpful, and the place was spotless and dead quiet. It was right in the middle of everything, so getting around was a breeze.

The location was perfect for our whale‑watching trip and the flat was roomy, with two big bedrooms and a spacious open‑plan kitchen, plus handy parking. Unfortunately it got pretty noisy at night – a family’s TV and kids were loud for about an hour, and the walls were thin enough that I was woken up at 2 am by loud conversation next door. The kitchen was a mess too: dishes left dirty in the cupboard, a microwave with sticky food residue, and a freezer full of leftovers.
“Only One coffee cup”
Overall the place worked out fine, but the kitchen was missing basics – there was only a single coffee cup and you really have to go hunting for other items. It felt like a lot of things were left out.
The apartment was clean enough and easy to get to, and check‑in was a snap. The only downside was the $100 cleaning fee – they expect you to take out all the trash and keep the place tidy yourself. Also the curtains don’t fully cover the windows, so privacy is limited.
