The property sat on a pleasant side street off the Main Street, close to the beach and shops. We really enjoyed relaxing in the yard, eating the delicious breakfast, and interacting with our host Faisal, who clearly puts a lot of effort into the property and guest wellbeing. He helped us book a safari and a car to our next destination. If I ever return to Arugam Bay, I’ll definitely stay there again. The internet was great—I had video calls most of the time, only having one hiccup during a power cut that was quickly resolved. The only small issue was that the mosque could be heard early in the morning.
