Getting around was a breeze, but the lack of a complimentary breakfast and the steep extra charge for one were disappointing.

The property offers plenty of facilities and sits in a convenient spot, yet the pool towels were torn until staff promptly replaced them with two fresh ones.

Before 16:30 on the afternoon, the restaurant on the ground floor served simple snacks and drinks, which was convenient. We happened to get a corner room with two views, including a sight of Guishan Island; the bathtub was small but let us soak while watching the island, and after the lights went out at night we could see the million‑light cityscape, while the golden sunrise over Guishan Island in the morning was also charming. The room had a lot of power outlets, which made things very handy. The only drawback was that the large TV in front of the window blocked part of the view, so a movable design would have been better.
