The beds creaked a lot and the front doors of the adjacent building made a loud clacking noise.

This place is absolutely awful. The old room had broken furniture, the staff ignored us, and the wellness area was dirty and ruined (the crowd is a problem, but the hotel can’t fix that). I struggled to find any positives here and I’m certain I’ll never return.

The building is beautiful, offering a one‑of‑a‑kind overnight stay in a medieval castle with stunning interiors, guided tours, a billiards table in a gorgeous Art‑Nouveau lounge (at a very low price), a paid spa area, a pool and jacuzzi included in the stay, a good location near Kłodzko and Lądek‑Zdrój, live music in the evenings, and a park and river surrounding the castle (riverbank loungers for relaxing in nature). The bed is comfortable and the front desk staff are friendly and helpful. On the downside, parking is an extra charge, the breakfast selection is small, and there’s no air conditioning (which is understandable given the castle’s historic nature). Cleanliness is okay, but the room could use a bug sweep from the windowsill.

The website promised a beautiful castle, but in reality there was not much to see. The music was so loud that it bothered us in the room, and the food was not very special.
