The host replied almost instantly. The first room we got was dirty, but after sending a quick message we were given a new room within thirty minutes that was fantastic.

The beds were great, thanks to the therapeutic mattresses that made sleeping very comfortable. The outdoor area still has its games, and they’ve added a giant chess board, launch chairs, and a corn hole game. The horseshoe game is still there, but it’s now tucked behind trees, making it a bit awkward to play. I’m very disappointed with this hotel. My husband and I have stayed here every summer for many years, and the owners used to be wonderful and the property was well maintained. Now there’s nobody on site at all, and the upkeep and quality have declined. The floor in our room was very dirty and sticky, even though it smelled freshly cleaned when we entered. The TV was broken and when I asked for it to be fixed, the staff sent long text messages with instructions that I couldn’t follow, so I ended up staying the whole time without a TV. The sink faucet wouldn’t shut off properly; it would keep turning unless I held it in the middle. I reported this and they said they’d send someone after we checked out. The bathtub had serious plumbing problems, with water backing up. Next to the sink there was a dry, booger‑like spot on the wall, and the mirror was dusty on top. The mini fridge smelled like vomit when opened. There was hardly anyone on site for help, so I had to take out our own trash. When someone finally arrived, I had to ask for trash bags because we didn’t have extras in the room. We ran out of coffee cups, and when I texted the responsible party they told me to get them myself and gave me an access code to their supply room, which had almost nothing. I grabbed three cups and left two because there weren’t enough. The ice box had no ice at all; the machine was on but empty.

The property is conveniently located for getting around, very central and on a quiet street. The management was very nice and checked in on us throughout our stay to see if we needed anything. The bed was comfortable too. The property is a bit run down overall, but it was good value and we didn’t spend much time inside.

Very cute and quaint inn tucked away on a quiet street but close to restaurants and the lake.

The location is good, parking is available, and the owner is easy to contact. The bathroom lacks a sink; it’s in a separate room, and the rooms could use a refresh.
