The courtyard felt very homey, the room was spacious with a comfortable bed, everything was very clean and organized, there was a well-equipped kitchen and a beautiful balcony, and Beth the owner was very welcoming and kind.

From the garden, there was no ventilation, the windows were very small, the smell of mold was horrible, the bedding smelled of mold and old, the shower enclosure was very small, and the bathroom had a bad odor.

Beth and Cris were wonderful hosts—though we only dropped in for a few hours (arrived at 8 pm, left the next morning), they welcomed us warmly and even served homemade orange cake at breakfast. The spot is perfect for hitting Itaipu beach, but the room itself was pretty grimy; a strong musty odor and furniture that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages made the stay far less pleasant.
