The location was good, and Daniel was as friendly as possible. The staff member who came after Daniel was careless when opening the gate late at night and seemed afraid to be alone there. The place was totally unclean: the room smelled bad, the wardrobes were disgusting, and I had to buy a lock. I was put in a room where homeless people stayed; when I said I didn’t feel comfortable because I was the only woman and one of the “inhabitants” stared at me oddly, Daniel offered me the option to move rooms for an extra 10 reais. The bathrooms were filthy, the shower flooded and only let you bathe for 5 minutes!!!

The place was clean and the staff were helpful, but the accommodation itself was just average and ordinary. I think the guests should be warned about the beds: if someone lies on a bunk bed, they shouldn’t move too much so as not to disturb another guest’s sleep.

It’s a bit close to the metro! Because of the $1.40, they left me on the street; I managed to get the missing $1.40 and the receptionist mocked me as soon as I returned.
