“Un desastre”

“Le Riad est traditionnel, spacieux calme confortable”
Breakfast was a fantastic traditional spread. The place is close to Jemaa el Fna square—just a 20‑minute walk—and you can catch a taxi or bus right outside the riad.
“Horrible à fuir ryad non au norme de sécurité très dangereux”
The only bright spot was the breakfast prepared by Sana, a golden woman, everything else was terrible and should be avoided. I’m writing to warn people about the riads in this complex because the façade is deceiving; upon arrival there was a sewer smell, the bedding smelled damp, so I had to call the owner to replace everything. Then there were several power outages, no electricity at all, an electrician had to come, and the worst part was that two days before our departure my whole family and I almost died when the electric meter caught fire—completely non‑standard and tampered with! If my husband hadn’t gone downstairs we would have burned down 😢 my children are traumatized, and the owner was impossible to reach after multiple calls; he only showed up on site. He had to relocate us urgently for the last two nights, and we asked for a full refund because it’s unacceptable to house families in a riad that doesn’t meet safety standards. It was late, so he said we’d meet tomorrow at 10 am, but we never saw him again. He stopped answering the phone and told the breakfast lady to retrieve the riad key at 4 am. It’s really serious to have to deal with people who think money is everything. Mr. Moufid and Mr. Hichem!!! I have all the photos if you want. Disappointed and upset.
