Everything was good, but the only problem was that the hot water from the shower wouldn’t stop.

The hotel sits in the liveliest part of Mirissa, just a 5‑minute walk to the beach, and there are plenty of nice cafés and supermarkets nearby. It was really clean, and the owner was very friendly and helpful, even arranging a scooter rental for us at a reasonable price.

We stayed in an upgraded double room; the hotel is just off the beach (second line) and close to several cheap cafés, and even the nearby road didn’t keep us from sleeping soundly. The staff were welcoming and accommodated us when we asked to be moved to a room with a properly working air‑conditioner and no musty smell. The shower’s water pressure was weak, and we booked three rooms—two deluxe and one upgraded. The deluxe rooms on the ground floor were poorly ventilated, reeking of dampness and mold, and after a day nothing improved, so we requested a room change.
