Top-Lage. Idyllisch am Badesee mitten in der Natur. Direkt von der Terasse zum Schwimmen. Ideal auch als Ausgangspunkt für Radtouren. Frühstück war gut. Rezeption wenig freundlich. Wenig zuvorkommend Gästen gegenüber. Die ganze Anlage hat anscheinend schon bessere Zeiten gesehen. Restaurant im Modus "Sparflamme" und nur für Hausgäste

Breakfast was good and the lake offered nice swimming and lounging in summer, but the room had a smell that seemed like “carpet adhesive” or something similar.

The Mühlenhotel sits away from the main road in a very quiet area. Directly behind the hotel is a lake where you can swim from a pier, and a large lawn with a few loungers invites you to relax. The rooms are adequately sized and come with a comfortable double bed, a table and two chairs, plus a desk and a chair in front of it. A wardrobe, a coat rack and a luggage rack are in the small hallway. The bathroom has a shower, a sink and a toilet. Unfortunately everything feels dated and exudes 90s charm, yet it is all clean and in fairly good condition… The window had a fly screen. The staff were very nice and friendly, offering tips for activities. Even though the restaurant was closed due to illness, guests still received a warm meal or a snack in the evenings. The breakfast was sufficient and the buffet was restocked regularly, but it lacked variety.

The breakfast was good and was served by a dedicated lady who was friendly. The two young women in the restaurant service were pleasant. The lake for swimming was clean and tidy. Checking in via tablet was a hassle. The room had a 90s style. It is truly remote, and if you don't have a car you really need to eat at the restaurant. The restaurant’s menu sounded ambitious, but not all dishes lived up to it.
