“We enjoyed our stay in Monasterolo, it's a lovely, quiet and relaxing place.”
The hotel was in a great spot with a lovely lake view. The staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was adequate but could have been better. The bathroom was tiny, barely adequate. The room, bed and furniture were fine but everything needed a bit of maintenance.
The spot right by the lake, with a beach just a 2‑minute walk away, the staff, the high‑quality restaurant, the good value, and the handy fan during the heatwave all made for a solid stay, and a bottle of water was already in the room. Given the price, expectations were modest, but the hotel itself feels old‑fashioned, especially the room and the cramped shower cabin.
The location is fantastic. One could say the hotel is an unpolished diamond. It feels a bit rustic, but opening the balcony doors in the morning opens your heart. We had no refrigerator in the room, which would have been nice.
