I found that the hotel's price matched its quality, which was perfect for my travel style. I'm not looking for an all-inclusive resort where I don't want to leave; instead, I prefer a simple place to rest my head and explore the surrounding area. The hotel fit the bill, and the manager was friendly and accommodating. We were happy to see some tiny geckos roaming around the hotel, and we're already planning our return to both the island and the hotel.

The hotel staff was pleasant, which was a definite highlight of my stay. However, I was a bit disappointed to find that the hotel had some issues with ants and old furniture that looked like it might break if you touched it wrong.

The only thing that worked in its favour was the hotel’s location, while the rooms were old and dirty, never cleaned during my five‑day stay, damp and uncomfortable, and it seemed the staff simply didn’t care about guests.

The hotel staff was very welcoming and made an effort to ensure our stay was comfortable, even providing us with a tea kettle and tea for our room. The views of the harbor and lighthouse were stunning, but unfortunately, the hotel's location meant that we were exposed to some street noise.
