Hotel Hermitage

“We loved the feel of the hotel, its convenient location and the friendly, helpful staff.”

The hotel sat beside the Arno river next to the Ponte Vecchio, making it super convenient to walk to many museums, galleries, churches, restaurants, etc. The room was very comfortable and clean, and the decor throughout the hotel was fun and had a period charm. The roof‑terrace restaurant was a lovely touch with a plentiful choice of food that was delicious. Being family‑run, all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Being central, it could occasionally get a little noisy on the street outside toward late evening, but that always calmed down after a while.

“Weekend a Firenze”

A tiny yet beautifully kept hotel with flawless cleanliness, a generous breakfast made from fresh ingredients and a few special international dishes sold separately; the room was nicely appointed though the tiny sink wasn’t very convenient, and the location was perfect—just a few steps from Ponte Vecchio and 200 m from Piazza Signoria, with very friendly staff at both check‑in and check‑out, overall we left satisfied. The soundproofing fell short, as street noise, crowded crowds and the clatter of chairs from the restaurant on the top floor were clearly audible.

“Da tornarci”

The room was immaculate and very well‑equipped in a fantastic spot with a lovely view of the Arno and Ponte Vecchio. The reception staff were super helpful and competent. The little lounge was wonderful for relaxing while flipping through art and fashion books and enjoying the view of the Arno. The hotel entrance is a bit chaotic. I would advise the managers to try to avoid, as much as possible, interference between hotel/restaurant guest flows and the supplies/dirty of the ground floor. It’s really a slip that penalizes an otherwise excellent property.

The hotel reception is very accessible and helpful, giving tips about the city and how it works. Early check‑in was possible because the room was clean, and we could leave our bags after check‑out to keep exploring the city until the train time.

“Great place would go again”

Fun decoration, lovely staff, great location. The pillows were very firm, which my ears didn’t like – but that’s just me.
