Baymont by Wyndham Savannah South

The beds were comfortable and the staff friendly, and the price felt reasonable to me. Unfortunately, there was mold in my room and the refrigerator door wouldn’t close; I told the front desk but nothing was done about the fridge.

“For the price the Baymont South it is a great value.”

I rate this place against other budget options; the rooms were spacious with good amenities such as a sizable fridge, a large TV, and a microwave. The in‑room coffee was poor, but the café coffee was excellent. Breakfast seemed basic, the bed was soft yet comfortable with nice linens, and the bath was clean. This was a 10‑hour stop on the way to FL, and I’ve stayed here several times and will return. It’s super convenient to the highway and near several dining spots. For under $100 it offers great value. The only downside was a noisy A/C.

The location was fine. The front desk staff were not very friendly, the room was very damp—including the bedding and carpet—there was a mildew smell, and when I asked to switch rooms I received no answer.

“Do not recommend!!!!!”

Nothing positive. The staff was lazy and rude, the bed felt like a wooden board, and breakfast was almost nothing.

“Customer service is great but I would not stay there again”

Customer service was genuinely helpful. When I got my room, it looked clean at first glance, but when I pulled back the covers on both beds I could see the sheets had been slept on. That’s why my rating is all over the place; if the room hadn’t been like that it would have been fine. I went to the counter to explain the bed situation and they didn’t charge me extra. The second bedroom was cleaned and the beds were clean, but there were a couple of roaches in the room, which left me disappointed.
