“Wer Jugendherberge mag, ist hier ganz gut aufgehoben .”
The terrace, unfortunately closed, was a downside. As a day‑trip spot with open dining, the Peklo Tal is worth a visit, but staying overnight is a different story. The room was tiny (but manageable) and the bathroom was like a dwarf’s and sewage‑stank (not tolerable). Ideally, everything would be simple: a restaurant, a covered lovely terrace, and all would be fine. Then you could step out in the evening and enjoy nature. Unfortunately, the restaurant was shut, so we couldn’t get drinks in the evenings. With great effort and requests, we were finally allowed into the locked area, but no service—luckily we had plenty of wine in the trunk. Oh, and even when the restaurant opens, everything is still closed after 6 pm. Very, very disappointing. Maybe it’s different in summer.
