There was no way to have breakfast even though it was listed for 16 €, and the reception was rough, with a split toilet seat that pinched the skin. Rain leaked in through a closed window, leaving water on the window sill.

Nestled on a working farm, Hove Ter Hille offers spacious grounds with two ponds, a seasonal outdoor pool, and multiple garden seating areas. Rooms feature private bathrooms, garden views, and a sitting nook. Guests enjoy a generous buffet breakfast of local produce, on‑site bicycle rentals, and proximity to Bruges (20 min), De Haan beach (20 min), and Boudewijn Seapark (15 min).

I stayed in a quiet area that’s perfect for traveling with a dog, and the staff were very friendly. The kitchen and room were well equipped, and the place was just a 15‑minute walk to both Bruges and the beach. The breakfast cost 16 € per person, it was tasty with scrambled eggs and everything, but next time I’d probably cook myself because the kitchen set‑up is a bit limited.

Everything was perfect.

The place was tidy and felt brand new with attention to small details. The only hiccup was that the ONS house wasn’t directly connected to the outdoor seating area; you had to walk a few meters around to get there.

Breakfast was good, the location was exactly as expected—quiet and great—and the people were friendly and very welcoming. On the downside, the traffic‑law enforcement is brutal; they crack down even on a single hour‑per‑kilometre violation, which makes me hesitant to drive to Belgium again even though I’m an experienced driver with no time pressure.
