I booked this hotel for my parents, and the facilities are gorgeous, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. The first night they slept well and comfortably. The staff is super friendly and helpful; it’s a small but very pretty hotel with a very elegant design. What I didn’t like was that on the second night the power went out completely in Palenque, a situation you have to consider if you’re visiting; it was a citywide blackout, and the staff isn’t to blame because it was external. What also wasn’t cool was that my parents slept without light and in a lot of heat because the hotel doesn’t have a backup generator, even a small one; this issue went unnoticed at the neighboring hotel (where I stayed) because they have a backup generator. I recommend staying at Hotel Cuatro Lunas, but if there’s a blackout you won’t be comfortable. :( So better consider another option.
