The Louie, A Davenport Hotel

“Davenport: Lusso”

The hotel was exceptionally clean and comfortable, and the pool was warm, clean, and beautiful. After swimming, you have to cross the busy downtown street outside in the cold while wet, with people staring. I didn’t receive my deposit back onto my credit card without calling them, and I was charged an unoptional $20.00. The package included 2 bottles of water and 2 tickets for a 12oz coffee or bakery item (cookie, muffin). Parking with the Davenport costs almost $30.00—insane pricing! Meter parking is only good if it lands on a weekend.

My stay at this charming hotel was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I stepped inside, I was enchanted by the beautifully restored vintage lobby that exuded warmth and tranquility, a welcome respite from the bustling atmosphere of a nearby hotel. The friendly reception staff went above and beyond to make me feel at home, offering a glass of champagne as I settled into the cozy atmosphere by the fireplace.
