The location is great, the hotel is clean, and the staff are friendly.
“Excelente ubicación y comodidad”
The location is great, but the booking rate does not match the actual price of the accommodation.
“Glad to leave what I've been told is, "America's dumbest city, Tucson!"”
The location was okay, but the service was a nightmare. They ran me around before they even offered to print out my boarding pass, standing there looking cool. I wasn’t demanding—just a Karen. Do people really bring their personal agenda into the workplace? Isn’t that actionable? Doesn't a toxic environment destroy a good atmosphere? When they finally printed the boarding pass, the young man with a mustache behind the counter held it, unsure if he was going to give it to me. I had to ask for it, and he smirked the entire time. I’ve never stayed there or known anyone there; I pretend to know something about someone five minutes after meeting them, just by behavior alone. Education is the central issue.
The pool was good, but the views were lacking.
“Minus the initial poor room assignment and AC issues, overall we had a pleasant stay.”
The staff were all excellent—helpful, polite, and friendly. Breakfast was good and the location convenient. However, I had asked for a room away from the elevator, on an upper floor with a view of the cathedral and pool, yet we were put in a room right across from housekeeping and the view was a brick wall—literally no view at all. The noise from the room directly above us, 419, was extremely disturbing, sounding like furniture being slammed against a wall and pounding on the floor for hours; it began before we even went to bed and woke us up several times. We thought it was a one‑off wild guest, but it continued the next day, so we asked for a move to a higher floor with a view of the cathedral, per my original request. The front desk staff was apologetic, happy to oblige, kind, and courteous, and we appreciated his assistance. The AC had intermittent issues, making loud noise and not cooling at times. The lobby and lounge also had AC problems, which were being worked on for multiple days.
