The park was nice, but the value for money was poor and the spa was old and in need of refurbishment.

“Enttäuschend”

The location in a spacious garden and the attractive old manor were appealing, but the cheap renovation left the stylish furnishings feeling disjointed; the bed was very good. There was no lift for the third‑floor room, so no assistance with luggage was offered. The bathroom only had a bathtub, no shower head. The reception was friendly, but the rest of the staff were unfriendly, unhelpful, and under‑trained, especially at breakfast and the bar where it’s hard to imagine how the gourmet restaurant should be run. The coffee at breakfast was awful and unpalatable, similar to what you’d find in an American diner.

The outdoor areas were lovely, with a dreamy garden setting, fields of fruit trees, and a view of the sea in the distance.

The place was quiet, the spa staff were sweet and competent, and the reception and restaurant staff were also good, but the manor itself was unfortunately aging and poorly maintained. The prices for breakfast and dinner were high, and with the already steep budget we expected better.
