The hotel exudes charm and character, we were well looked after and even received a hot water bottle with the turndown service; its location makes a short walk to town or a good base for exploring, breakfast was fabulous, and we found room service in the evening offered better value than the buffet, with everything else being great.

This hotel in Nuwara Eliya is absolutely fabulous, blending elegance with old‑world charm. Breakfast was very good, and the room was both comfortable and clean. The staff were very attentive, and it was a pleasant surprise to relax with a drink by the fireplace—something I didn't expect to find in Sri Lanka. On one day, however, there was no hot water for a shower during the day.

The kitchen was excellent, and my wife’s allergies were handled very well. The staff were very helpful. If you’re looking for a hotel in the old British colonial style, this is it. We even received a warming bottle in our beds because of the cold mountain climate.

מלון עם אווירה מדהימה. מבנה יפיפה מאמצע המאה ה-19, מוקף בגנים פורחים. החדרים מרווחים ונעימים. הצוות מאוד מקצועי ומפנק. אפילו השאירו בקבוקים חמים במיטה בערב. ארוחת בוקר מעולה ומאוד מגוונת. השהייה היתה חוויה אמיתית
