The description on the booking website matched reality, and the unit was spotless. I liked having a fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, and some cutlery. The shower was hot with good water pressure, and the bed provided a decent night's sleep. Extra blankets were in the closet for a cooler night, and my unit at the rear of the building—farthest from Princes Highway—was quiet.

I had high hopes for Marriott Park Motel, but the stay was a major letdown. The overall experience was unpleasant, and the accommodation’s condition and service level were far below expectations. I expected a clean, comfortable, well‑maintained room, yet several problems made the stay uncomfortable and ruined what should have been relaxing. My concerns weren’t handled satisfactorily. The common area BBQ gas didn’t work properly, and the bathroom sliding door was broken, posing a hazard for children.
