At least the place was clean. However, it was by far the noisiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The room sat right next to the rubbish bins, so we could clearly hear the collection, including the sound of glass bottles being dumped. On top of that, the air‑conditioning compressor kicked in every 6–10 minutes (yes, we actually timed it!). Needless to say, we didn’t get a single good night’s sleep. The room also lacked basic amenities: no proper drinking cups, only tiny paper cups big enough for an espresso; no chair or place to put our belongings, so the bed was our only option. Considering the hotel wasn’t particularly cheap, the overall experience was extremely disappointing.

The location was good, and the check‑in and check‑out process was simple. There was no daylight window.

The place was spotless and in a great spot, close to restaurants, the metro, train station, and bus stops. I could hear the other rooms, and there was no natural ventilation – you can’t open the windows.

“gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis, sauber und modern”

The spot was excellent, near public transport and the Principe Pio train station/shopping centre, with friendly breakfast spots within walking distance and a few evening restaurants we didn’t try. The room had a double bed and a pull‑out sofa; the mattresses were comfy. The bathroom was clean and well‑equipped with a hair dryer, shower gel, shampoo, towels, plus a microwave, coffee maker and fridge. We only had three blankets for four people, and the pull‑out sofa only came with a sheet; the cleaning lady we met didn’t bring an extra blanket. Also, there was no daylight. For a short weekend stay it was fine, but a longer stay would have been annoying.
