The vistas are amazing—hard to look away—and the huge, comfortable bed is a plus. I booked one night, but had planned to stay two on the way because I knew the pass was beautiful, and I didn’t miss out. We arrived at the house at 19:00 and the room was scorching; outside it was +37, sunny side, but there was no air conditioning or fan—though the description said a fan was present. The doors were fully open and that didn’t help either. Not all sockets work, and to heat a kettle you have to try more than one. The floor has to be heated. Breakfast is included in the room price, but it’s terrible—buckwheat, a cutlet, a cleaned cucumber… Seriously? At 4600 you could serve something better. There is no sound insulation; the floor creaks, and I tried walking quietly because there were kids below, but it was useless. Expect construction noise nearby—concrete mixer, chainsaw, angle grinder, radio blasting—so if you’re looking for quiet and peace, you probably won’t find it.
