“Schlechteste Hotel in dem wir je waren”

The rooms and bathrooms feel very old-fashioned, the sink is broken, the shower is yellowed, the shower head is loose, there’s a stale smell, and cigarette smoke lingers in the hallway. Poor value for money.

It was good, and the location is very good, but there’s a construction site right in front of the hotel.

The hotel sits right in the town centre with its own parking, and the staff were friendly and pleasant; the on‑site restaurant served good, plentiful food at cheap prices. However, the large old‑pink sink with pink tiles was placed inside the room rather than the bathroom, and the combined shower‑toilet cubicle was impossibly tiny. When we booked, the forecast was a sweltering 35 °C and the un‑air‑conditioned room didn’t even have a fan. We were told breakfast started at 7 am twice, which was far too early for our holiday, though we managed to show up at 8:30 am. The breakfast was very basic – just coffee, orange juice, one hard‑boiled egg, two identical rolls, plus some packaged items, butter, jam, honey and Nutella, with no cheese, cold cuts, fruit or yoghurt.
