This old‑school motel from the 60s had been remodeled, so the rooms were very nice; the manager even offered to give us early breakfast because we were leaving before the usual start time. I always enjoy finding a hidden gem like this.

The kids were very disappointed because the pool was full of bugs and green slime covered the bottom, so we couldn't swim.

It was a great place to stay in a great location, and the deer on the property were a lovely surprise, but the fridge didn’t work and froze everything, though everything else was fine.
